OTR/L, Founder of Carolina Sleep Therapy
Meet Molly Young
Molly Young, OTR/L (Occupational Therapist, Registered, Licensed), is on a mission to be a leading provider of non-pharmacological, evidence-based interventions for adults and children struggling with disordered sleep.
In 2019, Molly earned a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. After graduation, she worked as an OT for children, adults and seniors and discovered that few options exist for individuals to address their sleep problems. Molly knew she could do more to address the underlying physiological, psychological and environmental factors that are the root causes of her patients’ sleep issues.
She took additional courses in cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia, sleep physiology, and pediatric sleep models. She underwent extensive research in sleep science and current evidence-based interventions for sleep disorders.
She founded Carolina Sleep Therapy in 2024 to provide direct access to quality, evidenced-based sleep therapy and is passionate about improving her patient’s health.
